English classic style in the interior and its characteristics

English or British interior is restrained and elegant, suitable for large spaces, but in design it is far from cheap. The English style formed in the 19th century, concentrated the features of the Georgian and Victorian eras with individual elements of Baroque and Rococo.

The classic of “England” is the massive and majestic “Chesterfield”. In leather upholstery it will become an accent element of the interior. Chester is usually placed in the center of the living room, but it will also take a worthy place in the design of the study. At the same time, it is not necessary to stop at one color, you can choose from several variations.

An English house cannot do without a fireplace faced with stone. In modern classic rooms, a wood-burning fireplace will be replaced by an electric portal, and here other finishing options are already possible. A TV panel is usually hung above the fireplace area or the fireplace trim is left “open”.
