Varieties of large -span reinforced concrete structures

Advantages of using large -span reinforced concrete structures

Here are examples of structures of large -span buildings. Coatings from elements operating according to linear scheme.

The coating, the elements of which work according to the linear scheme, can consist of large panels based on the main supporting structures in the form of beams, farms or arches of large spans.

In terms of consumption of materials, such a coating is less profitable compared to the shell of double curvature, but its use in some cases ensures a decrease in the volume of the building and the savings of funds for heating. An example of this type of coating is a large -span coating of a warehouse of bulk materials on the prefabricated reinforced concrete three -shaped arches of a curvilinear outline by a flight of 46 F, carried out in the Hungarian People’s Republic.
